On a weekly basis our church is engaged in various ministries. There is the Worship. There is the work of the Guild. There is the Wednesday lunches. The Friendly Hour. The church's Prayer Ministry. Pastoral Visiting. Church Magazine distribution. The Indoor Carpet Bowling Group and other groups that use our halls such as the Brownies, Irish Dancing and Slimming World.
Sadly all of these events have had to be postponed at present due to Covid-19 recommendations. However, we shall still be keeping in touch with people by phone, email, newsletter and this website etc.
This is a work in progress. Each year along with KART we hold a Holiday Club during the October School Holidays. Currently we are also running an after school book club using Bible Society literacy materials in one of our local Primary Schools. Watch this space for more information!
The Guild meets on a Monday evening at 7pm in the Church Hall between the end of September - end of April each year. The Guild is a Christian movement which encourages it's members to live out their lives in worship, prayer action and fellowship. Our meeting are varied and interesting, often with a speaker, but sometimes with other activities varying from a Burns Evening to a |Bible Study. , so why not come along? We would love more people to join us. remember the Guild is open to both men and women.
The Friendly Hour, open to all, meets on a Thursday afternoon at 2pm in the Session Room for chat, fellowship and a cup of tea. There are speakers at some of the meetings. Lifts are available for those who require transport.
An indoor church carpet bowling club meets on a Thursday afternoon at 2pm in the Church Hall. We would love to see more folk coming along. Refreshments are available after playing, tea and biscuits, sometime cake. Total cost for the afternoon is only £1!
